TDLR

The top undetectable AI websites in 2024 are: StealthGPT, Conch AI, and Stealth Writer. Of these three, StealthGPT is the best because it consistently produces superb results.

What Is an Undetectable AI Website?

An undetectable AI website is a site that makes AI-written text mimic human writing in order to push AI detectors to believe that the AI-generated text was written by a human. Undetectable AI websites are used by those who have something to lose if the word gets out that they're using AI to generate texts. Some of these people are students. Others are freelancers whose clients have made it clear that they don't want AI-generated content. Undetectable AI websites will also benefit business owners who don't want to lose their potential and current customers and business partners due to the robotic nature of AI text.

What Is an Undetectable AI Website for?

An undetectable AI website is for humanizing AI-written text or text that contains both human and AI writing. This text may be an essay, a blog post, an article, a Wikipedia submission, a social media caption, a LinkedIn post, a WhatsApp broadcast message, an email, a video script, etc.

How We Tested Undetectable AI Websites

Our testing process involves humanizing AI-generated text with the selected AI tools and scanning the humanized content with three top AI detectors. Ideally, text humanized by a real undetectable AI website should not be detected by any AI detector, no matter how strong the detector is.Which AI Detectors Are We Testing the Undetectable AI Websites Against? We'll check if the text generated by these undetectable AI websites can scale over the walls of Originality.ai, GPT Zero, and Winston AI.

Originality.ai

Originality.ai has made a name as the strictest and most effective AI content detector. The tool follows a rigid set of rules for predicting the probability of content being AI-generated or human-written.

GPT Zero

GPT Zero set out on a mission to purge the content writing world of GPT-generated content and it has been doing so to a significant degree. The AI detector can detect text written by any AI software built on a Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT model), such as Microsoft's Copilot, ChatGPT, Writesonic, Anyword, Copy.ai, Jasper, and others.

Winston AI

Winston AI is one of the AI detectors that are easily accessible yet incredible. With an AI prediction map, it tells you if it has detected the material use of AI content writing software in the creation of the scanned text. The standard by which Winston AI assesses text is quite reasonable and fair. There are times when manually-written text may sound like AI writing because of how much the sentences cohere with one another and the nature of the text. For example, when writing an essay, you'll likely use the phrase “This essay explores…” in the essay's introduction. But this phrase is also commonly used by ChatGPT and every other AI writing tool. Would it then be fair to claim that your usage of that phrase means that it's likely that the essay is AI-generated? Of course not.

Test Results

Step 1: Generate Text with ChatGPT

We prompt ChatGPT to write a 2000-word essay on the benefits of vitamin D. See the screenshot of the essay:

Step 2: Input Text into the Undetectable AI Websites

Since we're testing more than one undetectable AI website, we're inputting the text into these websites one after the other.

Inputting Text into StealthGPT

We copy and paste the AI-written essay into the Bypass tool on StealthGPT. Then, we change the undetectability mode to “medium” and switch the tone to “academic.”Please bear in mind that in this test, we're not biased towards StealthGPT. If any other undetectable AI website has any settings that need to be modified to obtain optimal results, we'll adjust those settings accordingly. That said, it's time to click the “generate” button. After tapping the button, StealthGPT churns out the humanized text, which we call the “Stealth text.” Here's a screenshot to help you visualize what's going on.

Inputting Text into Conch AI

On Conch AI, we open the Stealth tool and paste in the ChatGPT-written essay. Before we can humanize the text, Conch AI requires us to first check whether the text contains AI content. There's no point in fixing what isn't broken, is there?Conch AI identifies 37 AI problems in the essay and finally gives it a score of 22 out of 100. To humanize the essay, we click “Humanize all.” Please, see the screenshot below.

Inputting Text into Stealth Writer

We copy the ChatGPT essay and paste it in Stealth Writer. Stealth Writer has 10 levels of content humanization, ranging from level 1 to level 10. For this test, we choose level 6 because it's higher than average and guarantees that the humanized text will still be readable. In other words, level 6 helps us achieve both undetectability and readability. Then, we select “humanize.”

Step 3: Testing Against AI Detectors

We're using Originality.ai, GPT Zero, and Winston AI to test the undetectability of the text humanized by the undetectable AI websites. To keep things more organized, we test each undetectable AI website against the three AI detectors. Ready? Let's start.

Testing StealthGPT Against AI Detectors

Testing StealthGPT Against Originality.aiWe copy the Stealth text and paste it in Originality.ai’s content scanner. Here's the screenshot of the scan result.
Scrolling through the text, we find that Originality.ai hasn't highlighted any sentence in red, orange, or yellow. This means that generally, the tool is between 70% and 90% confident that each sentence in the Stealth text is human-written. All sentences score an average of 90%, indicating that Originality.ai thinks that there's a 90% chance that text generated with StealthGPT has been written by a human.Testing StealthGPT Against GPT ZeroOn GPT Zero, we paste the Stealth text and click “scan text.” GPT Zero ultimately decides that the Stealth text is likely to have been written by a human. See the screenshot of the result.
A closer examination of the test result reveals that GPT Zero believes that there's a 95% probability that the text paraphrased with StealthGPT has been written by a human. These are pretty good odds, proving that StealthGPT is an excellent undetectable AI website.Testing StealthGPT Against Winston AIWinston AI doesn't have any settings that need to be adjusted when scanning content for AI text. As a result, we simply paste the text and click “scan text.” Here's a screenshot of the test result.
Winston AI detects that the text generated with StealthGPT is 100% human. The software has been completely unable to find any sign of AI content generation in the text paraphrased with StealthGPT. Also, the readability score of the Stealth text is 37, which means that it should be fairly easy to understand.

Testing Conch AI Against AI Detectors

Testing Conch AI Against Originality.aiAs usual, we scan Conch AI's humanized version of the essay with Originality.ai. Here's a screenshot of the scan result.
Honestly, the result is much lower than we expected. After scanning the text humanized with Conch AI, Originality.ai is confident that there's an 11% chance that the text has been written by a human and an 89% chance that the text is AI-generated.More than half of the sentences are highlighted in red while others are highlighted in orange and yellow. This means that generally, Originality.ai is 50% to 90% confident that the sentences in the essay paraphrased with Conch AI are AI-generated.Testing Conch AI Against GPT ZeroPasting the essay paraphrased by Conch AI into GPT Zero, we request that GPT Zero scan the essay. Here's a screenshot of the result.
From the result, we can see that GPT Zero states that there's a 49% chance that the essay paraphrased with Conch AI has been completely human-written.Testing Conch AI Against Winston AINavigating to the “Quick scan” section of Winston AI, we paste the text humanized by Conch AI and select “scan text.” In under 30 seconds, Winston AI produces these results:
As you may notice, the human score of the text is 100, which means that Winston AI believes that the text humanized by Conch AI must have been written by a human. However, the readability score of the text is just 15 out of 100.Upon a keener examination of the Conch AI essay, we notice that the last paragraph is an unusually long sentence spanning ten lines. This alone tells us that the paraphrased essay may be hard to read.

Testing Stealth Writer Against AI Detectors

Testing Stealth Writer Against Originality.aiWe paste Stealth Writer's output into Originality.ai and click “scan.” Here's the screenshot of the result.
Apparently, Originality.ai is 71% confident that the AI-generated essay humanized with Stealth Writer has been written by a human. Also, none of the sentences in the essay are highlighted in red, orange, or yellow. This indicates that all of the sentences sound like human writing, but to varying extents.Testing Stealth Writer Against GPT ZeroPasting the text into GPT Zero, we tell the software to scan the text. Below is the result.
GPT Zero believes that there's an 82% probability that the text paraphrased with Stealth Writer has been written by a human.Testing Stealth Writer Against Winston AIWe paste the output generated by Stealth Writer into Winston AI and ask the latter to check the text. Here's a screenshot of the result.
Winston AI reports that it believes there's an 83% chance that the content humanized with Stealth Writer is human-written. While the readability score of the Stealth Writer text (36) is almost the same as that of the StealthGPT output (37), our Stealth text surpasses Stealth Writer text when it comes to undetectability.

What Do These Results Tell Us?

We're done testing StealthGPT, Conch AI, and Stealth Writer. Let's now interpret the test results.

StealthGPT's Test Results

According to the scan results generated by the AI detectors selected, StealthGPT was able to bypass Winston AI, GPT Zero and Originality.ai. The essay paraphrased with StealthGPT scored a 90% to 100% human score across all three AI detectors. This means that StealthGPT can wipe all signs of AI generation from text.

Conch AI's Test Results

Conch AI bypassed Winston AI. However, it couldn't bypass GPT Zero and Originality.ai. Translation: with Conch AI, it's a gamble. You never know if the content humanized by this software can avoid AI detection by a specific AI detector until you run the text through that AI detector.

Stealth Writer's Test Results

The text humanized by Stealth Writer scored 71% on Originality.ai, 82% on GPT Zero, and 83% on Winston AI. From these results, we can tell that Stealth Writer is an average undetectable AI website.
